Bespoke Jewelry FAQ

What is the cost of custom jewelry?

While the answer to this will vary by materials and design, custom pieces in sterling silver start at $100 and custom pieces in 14k gold starts at $500. Statement rings (engagement or otherwise) will start at $1,000.

Are there any materials Lauren Brook does not work with?

Currently, we are not doing projects in white gold or platinum.

What is the turn around time for custom work?

Most pieces can be completed in 6 weeks but you will receive a firm timeline at the beginning of the project. Rush orders are available for an additional cost.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! Our standard payment is 50% of cost due at the beginning of the piece and the remainder due at pickup. But, we are happy to work around other payment schedules. Work on the piece cannot begin until 50% of the cost is paid and the piece cannot be picked up until 100% of the cost is paid.

What is the bespoke jewelry process look like?

First, we will meet to discuss budget, design, timeframe, and payment. This can be in person, over phone, or via email. Whatever is most comfortable to you. After, I will render design plans, pick out stones (if applicable) and send them over via email for client approval. This may take some back and forth depending on the design but thats ok! We are happy to help make creative decisions for our clients our allow them to drive the design process. We are here to work together and make jewelry dreams come true. Materials are then ordered and fabrication begins. Once the piece is ready, you will receive photos via email or text and instructions for pick up.

What if something happens and I no longer need to purchase a custom piece?

Once an initial payment has been made, design work can no longer be refunded. The only exception to this rule is if Lauren Brook cannot complete the project for whatever reason.

Can I bring you metal or stones to use in my project?

Yes! We would love to rework your pieces. Please note that we will need to refine any metal provided (either in house or sent to our trusted refiner) and this may add to the timeframe of a project.
